Do you know someone in Whaddon who has been going through a bad patch recenlty? Perhaps through bereavement, illness or unemployment?

Or, maybe someone in need of financial help with their Further Education?

Elmers Charity (Registered Charity No. 233663) and Elmers School Charity (Registered Charity No. 310617 provide support for "those in need in the community" and for further education of individuals who have left school and who are under the age of 25, and who live in Whaddon.

If you know anyone in Whaddon in need of a quick cheer up and recognition that others care about them, or maybe they need longer term help with (for example) the cost of transport or the up-keep of their garden or home, please get in touch and enquire about funding from Elmers Charity.

On the education side, Elmers School Charity offers support to students under the age of 25, and this might be books for a person doing a degree, specialised tools or clothing for an apprentice, funding for activities such as field work, travel expenses or another education-related purpose as approved by the Trustees.

There is a simple application process to apply to either of the two charities, and all applications are treated in utmost confidence.

For more information please get in touch with your local Charity Trustee, Cllr Graham Stewart via gstewart@whaddonbucks-pc.gov.uk, or alternatively contact the Parish Clerk to be put in touch with Cllr Stewart.

Elmers Charity and Elmers School Charity Trustees look forward to hearing from you and offering support to those who could use a helping hand right now.
